Aesthetic clinicians can now apply this technology by drawing the patient’s blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets using a centrifuge, and injecting the plasma into targeted areas of the skin. Introduction to Phlebotomy Course
Also known as: Venepuncture Course, Venous Blood Collection
Train as a Phlebotomist ... learn how to take blood
​
This course trains you up to the point of obtaining live blood samples (from consenting adults) and assumes no prior knowledge or experience in this field.
​
If you are planning to offer blood testing, well-person profiles or if you need to obtain your client's blood for PRP (platelet) harvesting then you will benefit from completing this course.
​
Advanced phlebotomy training is also available as a separate course if you are looking to offer Point of Care testing, working with infants, the elderly, alternative collection systems or would just like a higher qualification.
​
Many of our students have completed this course and now work as phlebotomists within NHS and private hospitals, GP Surgeries and other medical organisations. If you are looking at supplementing your income with part-time (or full-time) phlebotomy work then this course covers all the steps you need to gain a national qualification in phlebotomy.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy course trains you up to the point of obtaining a live blood sample.
If you would like "hands-on" experience in collecting blood from consenting adults then this add-on competency workshop will allow you to experience "live" blood draws and gain the additional experience and confidence needed when collecting actual samples.

Consolidate your theory and practical training covered in our Introduction to Phlebotomy Course and put your new skills into practice.

You will also gain a "transportable" competency certificate*
